Dorothy Dunn, nee Swidler, beloved wife of the late Louis Dunn. Daughter of the late Jennie and Hyman Swidler. Dearest sister of the late Sam, the late Sylvia (the late Milt) Bovilsky, the late Lou (the late Marion) Swidler, the late Betty (the late Jerry) Rabin, the late Sara, the late Ann (the late Harry) Fisher and the late Martin. Dorothy is survived by her very loving sisters in law Annette Swidler Gotteiner and Rae Samuels. She will forever be missed by her children Sandra and Howard Shapiro and Janis and Irving Levinson. She lived to help raise four devoted grandchildren, Harlan (Robin) Shapiro, Wendy (Daniel) Schuman and Joshua Levinson and Marisa (Noah) Ornstein. Life became even better as she watched her great grandchildren grow up, Aaron, Bennett and Madeline Shapiro, Sarah and Joey Schuman and Liam, Elliot and Isla Ornstein.The loving care given to her by Fe Naldoza enriched her life and always made her feel safe. Her devoted husband Louis will finally be with her again. Chapel service Sunday 12:15 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Rd., Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park.
